To create hype for the Pixel 7 series launch, Google is giving away its own branding potato chips to lucky winners by entering a lottery.

But it is only limited to the users in Japan as Google Japan has announced this promo campaign.

At first impression, you might think that it might be virtual promotional material, but it’s actual chips box from Google Japan, whose many details it has provided in a tweet so let’s discuss.

The box of chips features the Pixel 7’s new design, as you can see the camera bar with a pill and circle design of the camera setup.

The people of Japan can win one of 2,000 boxes of these potato chips by entering the lottery, whose sign-up duration will end by Friday, September 23.

While the main purpose of this promo campaign is that Google would showcase the Pixel 7’s colors variant as potato chip flavors, and they have done it pretty matching way.

  • The Snow Cheese is white, so it features the Snow color variant of Pixel 7 Pro.
  • The Hazel Onion is a dark sage-slash-olive, so it features a Hazel color variant of Pixel 7 Pro.
  • Salty Lemon is yellow as it showcases the Lemongrass color variant for Pixel 7.
  • The Pepper is black, so it features the Obsidian color variant Pixel 7.

With all that, the webpage also mentions the chipset of Google Pixel 7 & 7 Pro, which is the next generation’s Google Tensor G2 chip.

Besides, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be launched in an event on October 6, and we have already covered many details about its design and changes in the past months.

Such as, the pro and non-pro Pixel 7 come with aluminum instead of a glass tray, and the Pixel Watch is also coming with the Pixel 7 series.

Besides, we are expecting to see more promo campaigns in other countries too.
