new kindle is lighter, sharper and lasts longer

The newest addition to the Kindle range has been revealed, and it’s introducing some juicy upgrades.

First and foremost for some will be that it’s now set to be even lighter and super-compact. Yet while it’s small in the size department, inside it now boasts 16GB of storage, which is double that of its predecessor. In real terms it’s enough to store literally thousands of e-books.

More premium features have been shoehorned in, including a six-inch 300 ppi resolution glare-free display, that packs in three times more pixels. This means a much higher quality image, that the Kindle people claim reads like paper.

Handy features also include USB-C charging, plus a dark mode and adjustable front light – so whether you’re out in the sun or hiding away in the dark, you’ll stlll be able to read your Kindle.

On top of all these features, the battery life of this new Kindle is up to a whopping six weeks.

Set to be available from October 12, this all-new Kindle will be available in black or denim colours, with fabric covers offering matching black or denim, as well as and rose and the very sharp-looking dark emerald.

Stay tuned for pre-order details.
